■ 방정식 읽기
X4 + Y3 = Z
3(X+4Y)/(X-Y) = Z
◦ X4 + Y3 = Z : X to the fourth plus Y to the third equals Z.
◦ 3(X+4Y)/(X+Y) = Z : Three multiplied by X plus four Y divided by X plus Y equals Z.
P(B | A) = {P(B) P(A|B)} / P(A)
그냥 순서대로 읽어준다. P of B bar A equals P of B times P of A bar B over P of A. 수학기호는 구미언어의 어순과 문법에 맞도록 만들어져있다. 그리고 적분은 integral로 읽어주면 됩니다

미분에 관한 표현은 크게 두가지가 있다. 하나는 그냥 d
를 써서 dx와 같이 나타내는 ordinary differential이 있고 위의 첫번째 예에서 볼 수 있는 것처럼 d가 변형된 형태로 쓰이는 경우인 partial differential(편미분)이 있다. 후자의 경우는 그냥 Dee라고 읽지 않고 따로 Round (Dee)라고 발음하게 된다.
■ 제곱, 루트 읽기
X2 : 우리말로 제곱이라고 하고 영어로는 X squared
X3 : 우리말로 세제곱이라고 하는데 입방표시이기도 하므로 X cubed 라는 표현도 가능하고 단순하게 X to the thrid (3rd) 라고도 읽으며
X4 : 네제곱부터는 단순하게 X to the fourth (4th), 5th, 6th, 7th...이런식으로 읽으면 된다.

√x = square root of x = radical x

■ 분수 읽기
1/2 = a(one) half, 3/2 = three halves
1/4 = a(one) quarter, 3/4 = three quaters

0.5 = point five
0.05 = point o(zero) five

■ 수학 용어 다른것들..
벡터의 내적은 inner product 또는 scalar product(ususally Dot product), 벡터의 외적은 outer product, vector product(usually cross product)
삼각함수는 Trigonometric_function
f(x)의 경우는 f of x
수열(Progressionor Sequence)에서 사용하는 등차수열은 Arithmetic Progression, 등비수열은 Geometric Progression, 조화수열은 Harmonic Progression, ∑의 경우는 Summation
급수(수열의 그 항까지의 합)는 Series, 보통 멱급수는 Power Series
소수(2, 3, 5,...): Prime Number, 실수: Real Number, 허수 : Imanginary Number, 자연수 : Natural Number, 유리수 : Rational Number, 무리수 : Irrational Number, 복소수 : Complex Number, 역수 : Reciprocal Number
집합: Set, 교집합: Intersection, 합집합: Union, 차집합 표현 : A - B A Difference B * 방정식 : Equation, 일차방정식 : First Order Equation, 이차방정식 : Second Order Equation, 삼차방정식 : Third Order Equation

이차방정식은 quadratic equation이라고 보통 쓰던데...
이차방정식에서 Ｘ의 0값을 구하는 공식을 quadratic fomula 라고 하고,
ngative "b" plus minus square root of "b"square minus four "a""c" all over two "b"라고 읽고..
상수 e를 특별히 불러 주기 위해서 "constant e"라고도 한다.
"A이면 B이다." "B if A." "If A, then B."
